As we continue to develop our Marine & Offshore activities, join our organization as Project Engineer - Offshore units in operation. The position is located within our Head Office in La Defense (Courbevoie - 92).
Role & main responsibilities
As part of the Direction of Operations / Fleet Management department, reporting to the Head of FM-Offshore and New Inspection techniques, the position will encompass the following responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain the rules, technical guidelines, procedures and instructions for Offshore units in operation and ensure that they are implemented in the operational tools.
- Review of alternative scheme of inspection such as Risk Based Inspection plan or Alternative Survey Program plan applicable to Offshore units in operation.
- Support the development of new services related to inspection with drones.
- Develop, maintain and support the development of new technologies applicable to inspections and repairs for offshore floating units.
- Provide operational support to the M&O network with respect to in-service inspections of Offshore units.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, (or equivalent) in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field and a general knowledge current Inspections Techniques such as Drone, ROVs
- A prior experience in the offshore or maritime industry would be appreciated.
- Thorough and structured, good analytical and writing skills.
- Appreciation of teamwork but also capability to be autonomous and self-driven.
- Full proficiency in English and capacity to work in France.
