Your job
In the role of Key Account Manager for wholesalers, located in Paris, you will oversee a critical business segment and focus on managing relationships with key wholesale partners, ensuring revenue growth, and safeguarding the company's strategic interests. You will report to Managing Director and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: You will be the primary contact for wholesalers, managing accounts that are crucial to the company's revenue and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Sales Growth & Performance: With achieving and exceeding sales targets within the wholesale channel, you will ensure steady contribution to company's turnover. You will analyze sales trends and provide actionable insights to optimize performance and ensure the company remains a preferred provider among key electrical wholesalers.
- Marketing: You will plan and execute all marketing activities directly related to wholesalers, such as promotions, campaigns, and product positioning. You will organize and participate in industry events or training sessions to strengthen relationships with wholesalers.
- Relationship Development: You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at wholesaler organizations (at all levels, including decision-makers) and regularly communicate to anticipate needs, address concerns, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Negotiation & Business Terms: Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activities to balance partner satisfaction and company profitability in close coordination with the Managing Director. You will ensure all agreements align with the company's goals and policies.
- Collaboration & Coordination: You will work closely with internal teams (regional sales, logistics) to meet wholesaler requirements efficiently and ensure seamless execution of product launches and promotional activities.
- Business Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly review account performance, providing updates and recommendations to leadership would be an important part of your everyday activities.
You have a proven experience in sales or account management, ideally in a finishing works B2B or wholesale context.
You have strategic mindset and the ability to think ahead, plan effectively, and make decisions that align with long-term goals.
You have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage critical relationships.
You have analytical mindset to monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities.
You are able to work both independently and collaboratively to meet business goals.
Knowledge of wholesale distribution and operational processes would be considered as an advantage.
You are highly proficient in English language, both spoken and written.
