We are actively seeking an adept Local IT Manager to champion our Helpdesk/Service Desk and Hardware Asset Management teams. This role is strategically vital for addressing the unique IT needs within the BeFraNeLux market, emphasizing the essential integration of global best practices. An intimate understanding of Jira, coupled with proficiency in Mobile Device Management (MDM), particularly FAMOC, is crucial. Sensitivity to the specialized requirements of our agency partners, especially concerning PDA devices, is a key aspect of success in this position.
As the Local IT Manager, you will BE the driving force behind our localized IT support and hardware asset management efforts. Your role is pivotal in tailoring global procedures to meet the specific demands of the BEFRANELUX market, with a keen focus on addressing the nuanced needs of your internal customers. Your expertise with Jira, along with a nuanced understanding of MDM, particularly FAMOC, will play a vital role in enhancing our IT operations and support capabilities.
Responsibilities :
Team Leadership and People Management : :
- Lead and inspire the Helpdesk/Service Desk and Hardware Asset Management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Set team goals, create work schedules, and establish responsibilities with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Tailor global IT procedures to address the unique needs of the BeFraNeLux market, ensuring the highest level of support.
Helpdesk/Service Desk Management :
- Oversee daily operations, emphasizing prompt resolution of technical issues and maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Implement and adapt standardized processes, with a focus on Jira, to meet local demands effectively.
Hardware Asset Management :
- Manage the Hardware Asset Management team, ensuring compliance with global policies and addressing the specific needs of agency partners.
- Procure, distribute, and maintain hardware assets, including PDA devices, in alignment with local logistics and agency requirements.
Local User Support :
- Provide hands-on support for local end-users, prioritizing the resolution of IT issues with a keen understanding of agency partner needs.
- Act as the point of contact for escalated technical issues, collaborating with relevant teams for swift resolution.
Global Process Implementation :
- Collaborate with global IT teams to implement and align local practices with global standards.
- Ensure the successful implementation of Jira and MDM (FAMOC) in the BeFraNeLux market, catering to the specialized needs of our agency partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing IT teams, specifically in Helpdesk/Service Desk and Hardware Asset Management.
- Strong understanding of global IT processes and procedures, with an emphasis on local adaptation.
- Experience with Jira and a track record of successful implementation.
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM), preferably FAMOC.
- Technical proficiency in IT systems, hardware, and software.
- Sensitivity to local user needs and a nuanced understanding of agency partner requirements.
- French language fluency and B2 level in English
